Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy (born on the 17th of October 1992) was born on 17 October 1992, and is an Indian actress. She has a prominent role on screen in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films. She received the National Film Award as Best Actress in the year 2018 in the role of actress Savitri and her role in the Telugu film Mahanati. Additionally, she was awarded an award from the Filmfare Award South and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy Kumar's parents include film producer G. Suresh Kumar & actor Menaka G. Suresh. Her initial career path was an actress for children. After completing her studies in the field of Fashion Design, she was back to acting. The first time she starred in a leading role was in 2013's Malayalam film Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy's first film outside Malayalam was the romantic comedy Idhu Maayam (2015) which she acted in with Vikram Prabhu. It was not a success in the theater. Although the movie did poorly at the box office the film she made her debut in came from A. L. Vijay's romantic-comedy Idhu Enna Maayam (2005) where she played opposite Vikramprabhu. Her busy schedule throughout 2015 led her choose to stay out of movies which she had already started developing, like Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and Deekay's Kavalai Vendam, to be able to accommodate bigger projects. In the end, she was involved in two movies, Rajini Murugan followed by Remo which starred Sivakarthikeyan. Dhanush also played in the role of Thodari for Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. The release of the film was postponed in 2015 and will now be after September 2020. It'll have an entirely different name Janakitho Nenu. In the year 2016, Nenu Sailaja, starring Ram Pothineni, was her debut. Keerthy was first seen in Bairavaa alongside Vijay and directed by Bharathan.
